  2. MRBackup Professional is distributed as a shareware product.
  3.  
  4.             THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT IS FREE.
  5.  
  6. What it does mean is that you are given the priviledge of trying the
  7. software for a period of 30 days.  If, at the end of that period, you
  8. decide to continue using MRBackup Professional, you must register the
  9. program by submitting the necessary information, along with the
  10. registration fee, to the program's author.  If you decide not to
  11. register, you must remove MRBackup Professional from your system.
  12.  
  13. Commencing with version 2.1.4, registered versions of MRBackup
  14. Professional will be accompanied by a registration key file, named
  15. "mrbackup.key".  This file must be copied to your MRBackup:
  16. directory.  You should also save a copy of this file on diskette or
  17. hardcopy (it can be recreated with a text editor).  It can be used
  18. with future maintenance releases of MRBackup Professional.

  20. MRBackup Professional is freely distributable as long as the .lha
  21. archive is distributed in its original form, without the
  22. "mrbackup.key" file.

  24.   DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE THE mrbackup.key FILE!!!

  26. A hardcopy version of the MRBackup Professional document is available
  27. for US $5.00 (plus $5.00 shipping and handling for international
  28. orders - sorry, but that's mostly postage).  I would prefer not to
  29. print any user manuals.  I've gone to significant effort to provide
  30. the user manual in four formats:  ASCII text, AmigaGuide (tm), TeX
  31. (.dvi) and PostScript (.ps).  The TeX and PostScript files are
  32. available on the MRsoftware BBS and may be freely distributed.

  34. Registered users will receive priority treatment in all support
  35. matters.  Bug-fix and enhancement releases will be placed on the
  36. MRsoftware support BBS and other public forums such as BIX, aminet,
  37. etc.

  39. To register MRBackup Professional, print a copy of the registration
  40. form (located in the Docs drawer), fill it out and mail it, along with
  41. the appropriate amount to:

  47. Payment can be in the form of U.S.  currency, personal check drawn on
